‘It’s become an annual event – last year there must have been about 100 of us,’ Heidi recalls. The spacious home the couple share with their two children is both welcoming and characterful, and testifies to Heidi’s passion for vintage pieces. Many of the Christmas decorations are also vintage finds and include baubles picked up at Sunbury Antiques market, as well as an old nativity set that was passed down to Heidi from her grandmother. ‘I love rediscovering these pieces when they come out of the boxes every year,’ Heidi confides. ‘I feel a buzz of excitement as soon as I start to unwrap them – that’s when I know Christmas has really begun.’
