Synopsis
The beautifully restored property represents a labour of love for Jackie and Mener, who bought the house when it was in a state of disrepair. Fortunately, the couple’s professions – Mener is a property developer and Jackie, an interior designer – stood them in good stead, and they have painstakingly worked to get the details just right, reinstating the original features such as the fireplaces and windows. The home and its 15 acres of parkland is now a welcome retreat for the couple and their three children, who invite family and friends to join them for a truly traditional Christmas of country walks, festive food and games by the fire.
