Synopsis
Breathing new life into a forlorn listed house was a challenge that Hannah Wall embraced with all guns blazing. ‘I loved the idea of a place with character, with thick stone walls and plenty of history. We’ve lived in a variety of places, and our last place was a 1920's house right out in the middle of the countryside in Herefordshire. But it had started to feel quite isolated and as my stress management business has taken off, I’ve realised I need to be nearer to big towns like Oxford, and to be able to get into London easily.’ So searching in Oxfordshire two years ago, Heather came across a 16th century cottage, which was grade 11 listed, and ripe for redevelopment.
