Georgina Mucklow-Davis and her husband, Tim, bought this old, wine-maker’s house in the south of France in 2010 as a holiday home for them and their five children.

Synopsis
It had been in the same family for 200 years and needed updating. The house was sold furnished and Georgina kept some beds and armoires but sold the rest. They added windows to the kitchen and created two new bathrooms, using a British plumber-cum-builder who stayed in the house during the work. Outside they created a swimming pool and scented garden. It is available to rent.
