Synopsis
When their second son was born, Florence Bories, designer and founder of the kids’ textile brand Pigmée, and her husband had the opportunity to extend their 50 sqm flat by adjoining the studio flat above. Located in the attic of a 1930s building on top of the Montmartre hill, this additional 25 sqm flat enjoys an endless view over Paris. “We can see all the monuments, the Eiffel tower, the Opera, the Centre Pompidou… It’s magic! And the light changes all the time. I must have taken eight hundred pictures of sunsets, Florence tells. This perspective brings a lot to our flat’s life and makes up for the limited space. With its French windows and balcony, the living room opens onto the outside and seems much wider.”
