Synopsis
Rocks, thorns and thickets - could this really be paradise found? Having fallen for Zakynthos while visiting friends six years ago, Pedro and Emma Schuster decided to leave the Cotswolds for this beautiful Greek island, then searched for two years before finding a five-acre plot of land. 'It rolled down to the sea, was very rocky, and covered in prickly thickets,' says Emma. 'There was nothing civilised about it apart from the view.'
