Synopsis
The existing bathroom in Emily and Franklins, three bedroom, Victorian house in West London, had not been touched since the 80’s. It was divided into two separate rooms, one a pokey toilet the other the bathroom, comprising of a plastic, bath and a green carpet, this damp space was in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. As it was an extension on the back of the house they decided to take it down and completely rebuild it. To maximise the light a large roof light has been installed allowing light to flood in, under-floor heating is laid under the ceramic tiles keeping the room at a constant temperature. Modern sanitaryware and soft grey tiles create an elegant contemporary feel transforming the room into a tranquil place to bathe.
