Synopsis
Her bedroom window overlooked The Museum which she describes as being at that time her dusty and unpopulated childhood playground. She still lives in Bloomsbury in a red brick Victorian block of flats just around the corner from where she grew up. Her home has become her own personal museum and is full of her paintings, ceramics, vitrine assemblages as well as antique objects she has bought and piles of her archeological finds, many from the Thames foreshore that she has collected since childhood. She has in the last couple of years held biannual art salons at her home, her idea being to keep alive the spirit of the old Bloomsbury with its artists and writers of The Bloomsbury Group of the early 1900’s.
