Conventional colours and recognisable high-street buys are few and far between in Charlotte Lawrence’s home. Rather than following current trends, she prefers her surroundings to reflect her personal passions and lifestyle,
“Neutrals just aren’t for me, because I love bright colours and prints,” she says, “I’d rather buy unusual bits from vintage fairs, car boot sales or independent shops, and I’m happy for my house to look that little bit different.”
The house has changed noticeably since Charlotte and her husband Simon bought it in 2008. Having renovated their cottage in Hampshire, they were keen to move up the property ladder and began searching in a wide area around where Simon works,
