Synopsis
The building dates around 1900 and it took them a couple of years to complete the renovations.Graham is a photographer and Jo a fashion stylist. They have 2 kids, Digby and Kit. Their project was to find a place that could cope well will their desire of having a family house and a place that could be well suitable for photo shootings as well. For this reason they had several walls removed, to gain more space and light. They chose dark colours for mainly two reasons: they were seeking a visual relief from long days on set, working with white backgrounds and flash light. Plus, they do love colours, as their eclectic props and furniture choices reveal. A dark background is ideal to make bold colours 'pop' even more. Instinct and heart drive the couple's exquisite taste- a bit vintage, a bit quirky, a lot cinematographic for the most charming outcome. Precious, natural materials have been preferred in several areas: the kitchen is in mahogany and the fireplace in stone.... , while the bedroom is covered with real rosewood- a refined contrast with the teal painted wardrobe.
