Synopsis
The house was built around 1890 as a holiday home for a Stockholm family, and has a wonderfully fairy-tale look. Annelis is an interior designer in London, and has given the house a nautical, maritime look using red, white and blue. The family’s boat is absolutely necessary for getting to the house after a late flight from London, and for shopping and visiting their many friends, so when it came to moving furniture, Annelis had to hire a car ferry to transport their furniture. An interesting historical note is that in 1967 Brigitte Bardot was filming in the archipelago nearby and rented the house for the summer.
