Synopsis
Embarking on such an expansive project was not the Cotton’s intention when they bought the house. ‘We chose the property because it offered sufficient flexibility of space to see us through until the children left home. It was tired and unloved but it had a large downstairs footprint - perfect for our vision of a sleek contemporary kitchen and dining area. At that point, we simply didn’t anticipate where it was all going to end.’
