The transition from living in a city with a population of 19 million people to a small village containing 240 households was challenging in many ways. However the joy of seeing daughter Amelie playing freely in the garden while breathing fresh air made it all worth it. After having experienced the pollution-problems and accelerating consumption in Shanghai they were determined not to add to the problem, but instead furnish and decorate their Swedish home with second hand items, memories from their years abroad or bought at auctions and flea markets, aiming for a sustainable interior style and lifestyle.
