Synopsis
John Hawkins wanted to get the balance just right when he converted a former Methodist chapel into an unusual family home. ‘I like the character of the chapel and didn’t want to change it, but it had to work as a family home,’ he says. ‘I re-used everything, from the pulpit and pews to the arched windows and stained glass doors.’
