Synopsis
The doll’s house charm of Sue and Colin Mealing’s Georgian property in Gloucestershire was already familiar to the couple when they bought it sixteen years ago. ‘We were living nearby and knew the owner,’ says Sue. ‘We had also started our married life in this village and that was one of the reasons why we were keen to move back.’ After some hesitation, their minds were finally made up by the sudden death of their son-in-law. Remembers Sue, ‘Unexpectedly this house, which had just come onto the market, turned out to be ideal for us to share with our daughter Hannah and granddaughter, Rebecca.’
