Synopsis
Drawn to the area because Pete was brought up nearby. ‘We were already converted to countryside living and had left city life for good’ the couple explain, ‘but we were looking for farmland’. Their search was extremely fruitful. They found themselves a house in a fairy tale like setting, in the vicinity of the historic home of Sir Walter Scott, Abbotsford House. The woodland had been specially designed for sir Walter Scott to ride here.
