Synopsis
Penny Godfrey first viewed her present home, in Bristol’s Clifton area, around 15 years ago. She admits it didn’t exactly inspire her at the time. ‘When I walked through the door, I could see it had been neglected and was badly in need of some loving TLC,’ she says. In fact, she wasn’t inclined to go any further with what she anticipated would be a lengthy project. But after a lot of consideration, Penny and her husband Alastair decided to go ahead and buy the place, with all the work that it would involve. ‘Life’s all about fresh challenges,’ says Penny.
