Synopsis
When Nellie came into his life, she had to tread sensitively. Andy owned a lot of brown furniture, maroon carpets and Persian rugs, which stood in the way of her dream for light filled interiors in blue, aqua and pink. ‘I began gently, softening the dull brown interiors and dumb down the masculine vibe with flowers and a few of my own floral paintings.’ Nellie says the Formica cupboards were the first to go and then the brown wooden kitchen.
