Synopsis
We bought this house as a ‘doer-upper’. It was totally run-down, but renovating the grubby, old bathroom was the priority. There wasn’t even a showerhead, so we had to improvise with a watering-can rose! Duncan and I replanned the layout, keeping the WC in the same spot but swapping the bath from the side to under the window, and knocking out a small section of stud-walling. That allowed space for good storage and a big, separate shower enclosure. In keeping with our Victorian house, we chose a timeless white suite, functional metro tiles and warm bamboo flooring, offset by deep teal-blue walls.
