When Gilly Wyatt Smith decided to buy a holiday home for herself and her grown-up family, she wasn’t short of advice. Son Gareth who lives in Leicestershire and daughter Kristy, who is married with two small daughters, and lives in Wales chose St. Ives for its seaside appeal and the fact that it is easily accessible by train or bus.
