Synopsis
There was room for four cars – great for a yacht owner or a collector of classic cars, but we were neither, so it was wasted on us. We wondered for years what to do with it. We knew it had value so it seemed a crime to just knock it down and actually it was quite useful for Douglas as a workshop, and he could use it to store materials while working on other parts of the house. We built a normal garage to the side of the house for our use, as part of the general improvement project we undertook on the property.
