Synopsis
When Anne and Richard Wells decided to move house, it wasn’t for the usual reasons such as down or up-sizing or locating closer to the children’s school. ‘It was because we wanted off-street parking and a larger garden,’ says Anne simply. What they found was a modest semi, close to all the facilities they needed but with the huge advantage of a garage, driveway and long back garden. These were essential both for Anne, who runs her own wedding floristry business, Betty and Bear, for Richard, who has an estate agency firm, and for the children who were still young enough to need play space.
