Stephen Antonson and Kathleen Hackett live on a shady street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, NYC with their sons Finn, 7 and James, 4. The couple met while working for Martha Stewart Living; Hackett was a features editor at Living for many years and a fine artist, Antonson worked as a set designer and stylist.
Currently, Antonson produces his own line of lighting, mirrors and tables made from gesso and the couple have recently collaborated on a book out now. 'Home from the Hardware Store' features Antonson's innovative designs which use simple hardware store ingredients to make interiors accessories and furniture. Antonson's passion for vintage and antique furniture shows in an eclectic home full of iconic pieces mixed with trophies found in dumpsters and flea markets.
