Synopsis
After previously renovating a couple of past homes and moving up the housing ladder, Tali and Tim Glynne-Jones decided that they were ready to tackle a much more substantial project. After keeping a close eye on the properties becoming available in the are for about six months, they saw this house and knew it could be fantastic. They were especially struck by its airy, high-ceilinged hall and good-sized garden, which was something they had struggled to find. "I loved its sense of character and even proportions. It hadn't changed hands since 1953 and a lot of the décor hadn't moved with the times either, reminding me a little of an old B and B near the sea. We knew straight away that it would make a good project."
