Synopsis
Four Wells is the quintessential Cotswold country cottage. Located on a hillside plot on the fringes of a charming village it overlooks farmland to the front and at the back is a sloping garden which has been cleverly landscaped so that steps lead down to terraces on several levels.

However, John Price was convinced that the 19th century stone property was far too small to be a comfortable home for him and his wife Carole. It dates from 1851 and was built by a mason using recycled dressed stone which normally would never have been used for such a modest dwelling.

The fact that they have lived there happily for fourteen years says a lot for Carole’s powers of persuasion as well as her talent for making a lovely home. “I don’t think anything would get him out of here now,” she says laughing.
