Synopsis
|
Agnetha has worked as an interior designer since 1985 and has a great interest and knowledge of how a good kitchen should look. She lives in a big ”split-level-house” from the 1960s just outside Gothenburg.
"I am trying to create "everyday-luxury" in my home. We spend most of our time at home and it's fun to decorate different environments for different types of relaxation. Places where many people can fit", says Agnetha.
The kitchen was planned with these ideals in mind. Big beautiful surfaces with space for cooking and space to socialise with her many guests. Agnetha does not want to have a separate dining area or dining table in the kitchen. Therefore, the kitchen island is large enough to manage food preparation, as a workplace and to function as a dining table. In order to make it work, instead of kitchen chairs, she chose bar-stools 90 centimeters high.
